Reimagining 16th Street
About R16S
Reimagining 16th Street (R16S) is an artistic endeavor to explore the past, present, and future of North Lawndale’s 16th Street Corridor in order to beautify, engage, and build a more livable, walkable, sustainable, prosperous corridor in line with the 2018 Quality of Life Plan.
Over the summer of 2024, we will engage in multiple art making, storytelling, community building projects culminating in an October festival celebrating a new chapter in the life of 16th Street. We want as many residents, business owners, and other stakeholders to be a part of it as possible!
